Can I say, I want an episode where a fight between Fluttershy and Discord happens, and they both realize how much they’ve changed each other for the better.
 
Fluttershy is so much more assertive now and Discord treated Trixie correctly at the end (in his own way) without being told to by anyone. I really want to get off this bend where only they are doing him a favor. It gets old.

Which imo, still doesn’t justify it because he should know that by letting her escape, he’s giving her another chance to capture Fluttershy again in the future. But…I guess he probably assumes she doesn’t have any other magic-nullifying thrones around.

Recall that Discord was totally disinterested in the crisis until Fluttershy was mentioned. She was the sole reason he went along. Once he was sure she was safe, he went right back to his “don’t give a yay!” attitude about the whole thing.

Well, what else can Celestia do? She’s been cocooned twice now as a result of Chrysalis’ plots to conquer Equestria, and she actually looked disappointed and saddened when Chrysalis refused Starlight’s offer of friendship and remained consumed by her dark emotions and fled to plan her vengeance on Starlight.
 
If Celestia has to condemn Chrysalis to Tartarus for the sake of Equestria, she’ll deeply regret it because of what could have happened if Chrysalis had repented instead.

It’s little scenes like this that remind you that for a world filled with happy pastel ponies, there are some damn scary things in Equestria.

The only time he was more angrier than now was when he was jealous over Tree Hugger stealing Fluttershy. I guess he really gets upset if she’s taken from him.
