That’s a pretty small percentage of those franchises’ villains. At any rate it’s perfectly fine that we disagree, as long as you don’t think me a bad person for it.
 
As a side note, be glad I’m not in charge of a franchise. I’d redeem everybody eventually.

I don’t think we can go so far as to say “most fictional media”. A lot, sure, but there are others with more than one and still others with none.
 
Just from my examples, we have Karai and Slash from TMNT 2012, a whole bunch from Dragonball Z (besides Vegeta and Piccolo, there’s also Androids 17 and 18, Fat Buu and Ten Shin Han) and Zuko, Mai, Ty Lee, Jet and others from Last Airbender. Admittedly how villainous they are varies, but they eventually joined the heroes, or at the very least stopped being villains.
 
Also, would we count villains who relapsed? I remember from Batman: The Animated Series, at least two villains genuinely tried to reform, but fell back to their villainous ways.

I agree that Chrysalis shouldn’t be redeemed yet. As for your last point, I’m referring to the fact that most fictional media have no more than one redeemed villain.

I personally have my doubts as to the idea that everybody has some good. I’d go with most people, myself.
 
And I’d like to point out that my opposition to Chrysalis being redeemed in this situation revolves more around, “She’s proven herself to be a dangerous and determined enemy. She’s not going to switch sides so easily.” If you watch other shows where a villain sees the light, it’s usually a long process. Like, say, how long it took Prince Zuko in Avatar Last Airbender to side with the heroes, or Piccolo from Dragonball Z.
 
And even then, there are some characters who side with the good guys, but are still (for want of a better word) ‘dark’. For example, Karai from TMNT2012 is now allied to the Turtles, but she’s clearly nowhere near as principled. Vegeta from Dragonball Z is still pretty abrasive, despite being part of the inner circle of heroes.
 
I’m not entirely sure about what you mean by ‘most people sharing my mindset’, though.

Is it weird that I find it arousing when female characters run in place and get grabbed?

and the writers know better than to reform chrysalis. why risk losing a HUGE chunk of the TRUE fanbase? the bronies? I’ve noticed they cater and market towards us. normally such a show is strictly aimed at little girls so that adults can buy them toys  
while they still market towards children, they’ve also cut out the “middle man” and market towards the bronies, and pegasister  
the adult fanbase is MUCH larger than the child fanbase  
and they know by now that 90% of said fanbase would NOT be pleased with her reformation. it’s a high risk, no reward scenario

I’m surprised nobody made a gif of the next scene when she is smashed against the wall.

Whether or not harm is actually inflicted is irrelevant. So tirek vs twilight was most certainly more violent than this.

Violence is about inflicting pain, physically or emotionally. That tackle was close contact, but it was not as violent as this, as this wasn’t an actual fight, but the Queen attacking Starlight and inflicting pain on her.
