Plot twist, Thorax was Chrysalis infiltrating herself in all along, she realizes that just assume a princess form isn’t enough, you have to be nice like the princess.

I sincerely hope that when we get to the Season Finale, Chrysalis makes a comment about how foolish they all were for never noticing that so many Ponies in the background looked exactly the same.

DHX still manages to make a huge amount of original characters for big crows and all but sometimes re-using models saves a lot of work, it’s only really visible if you’re really paying attention or pause on the right moments so I don’t think it makes the show any less appreciative.
