Poor Dash. I bet she was no fun to be around about that time! In which case, being married to Pinkie is a good thing.
That seems most likely with your OTP if anything. Braeburn’s orchard’s got other hands, Spitfire wouldn’t want to be unable to do stunt flying for an extended period. But I’d love to see the “subconscious had other ideas” version written.
I’d imagine the two would decide amongst themselves who would be the one (as Asari do), and most stallions would decide to not be pregnant, unless they’d wish it or if their subconscious had a different idea.
That does sound interesting. Would also explain the unlikely hybrids.
Of course, by those rules, there’s a real chance of the stallion getting pregnant by a mare… right?
Well, Mass Effect never really described in great detail. But here’s what I could gather:
Asari meld their minds together, attuning their nervous systems to each other becoming one for a brief moment. The Asari provides two copies of genes, one unaltered and the other altered during the melding process, becoming the zygote which will form the child. Asari don’t need to have “sex” (they are monogendered, as their entire race is “female,” however gender has no meaning to them) nor strong romantic feelings.
In my headcanon, ponies can do the same through their own type of magic be it earth, pegasi, or unicorn. However, most of the process is subconscious. Ponies do reproduce sexually but also magically, haha. Sex just aids the “becoming of one mind” part.
Same sex relationships such as stallions simply form the womb after the deed is done and birth canal is formed near the time the foal is to be born.
Well, that’s my silly headcanon. I just felt the whole r63 magic potion or spell was a bit dull.

No futa spells, they just reproduce like Asari from Mass Effect. Basically, they can reproduce with anything and any gender without major issue.
That image wasn’t about SoarinDash or Carajack, which are both in my filters. When people unnecessarily plug in their ships to an image completely unrelated to it, it’s annoying.

Also, the reason for shipping Dash isn’t “SHES CANON GAY CUS RAINBOW AND DYKE STEREOTYPE LOL” it’s because I ship Pinkie and Dashie. I don’t care for headcanon sexualities at all.
Thanks! Originally it was just going to be a PinkieDash edit like how I saw people editting Twilight with RD and Pinkie with Fluttershy. But there was this weird gap between them so I just put little Sugar in there, since I hadn’t drawn them in forever.
Nope, they had their kid the good ole fashioned way.
In my dumb headcanon they reproduce like Asari from Mass Effect, and can produce offspring with anything. It’s better than the old “Magic Potion #63” in my eyes.
