X-men Origins Wolverine is leaves a bad taste in my mouth. I’m sure he’ll be fine this flick, but seeing that and the rest of track record in films doesn’t inspire a lot of confidence in me.
After looking up a 2nd definition of Eviscerate, it looks like we’re gonna have another villain taking all the magic from Ponies just like Tirek (And also making their cutie marks disappear)
Sounds like villains that can make your Cutie Mark Disappear is starting to become a new trend in MLP:P

Continuing? When was the last time they did that purely for nostalgic appeal? Sometimes I feel that the fandom thinks they’re more important and have a greater impact than they actually are/do, and this is an example.

Google “Liev Schreiber Wants More Kid Friendly Roles”; it’s about 2 minutes of the interview mentioned in the EqD article, and though he doesn’t start talking about his MLP role until about 80-90 seconds in, it’s still worth watching the whole thing.

If you go to the link, at the end of the article is a video clip of him on Jimmy Kimmel Live saying pretty much exactly what they reported there. So there is a source, it’s just not shown here.
He’s a good actor but he’s really underrated.
How many of his movies have you seen?
I would think it was obvious, but actors have nothing to do with the quality of their scripts.
And you completely missed the point.
My point exactly. Little girls are bloodthirsty animals.
Did you bother reading the other comments, or the source link?
Not gonna happen. You know who the target audience is.

Or his character will be eviscerating the ponies like Sabretooth would.
Or Liev Schreiber was just
bullsjoking around.Sounds like villains that can make your Cutie Mark Disappear is starting to become a new trend in MLP:P
Not to mention, so far Tirek and the Smooze are the only ones they’ve brought back in FiM, not counting Somnambula being mentioned in The Crystalling.

I’d rather there be new content, instead of continuing to recycle old stuff for cheap nostalgic appeal.
