In honor of the new MLP FIM Season 2 episode “Luna Eclipsed”, I made this picture right after I finished watching the awesome episode.
 
I love Princess Luna, I really do. She’s beautiful, nice, adorable, and too cute for words! Even though I liked her design in Season 1, I do like her new look for Season 2. She’s lovely either way. And I LOVE her mane!
 
Also, if anyone had seen the episode, they’d see that a new character has been added to the show. His name is Pipsqueak and it’s mentioned he moved to Ponyville from Trottingham. You can see him in Mordecai’s arms in the background. He is the cutest little male character on the show that I have ever seen! :iconomgsocuteplz:
 
Okay, before I explain the picture, let me clarify some things regarding the costumes some of the characters are wearing:
 
Well, you already recognized Twilight’s wizard costume from the episode. And Pipsqueak is dressed as a pirate.
 
Ruff is dressed as a vampire pooch.
 
Mordecai, or should I say Blondecai, is dressed as a blonde Bruce Lee.
 
And High-Five Ghost is dressed as a failed attempt at Michael Jackson.

Deciding to dress in costume a couple of weeks early before Halloween, better known as Nightmare Night, Ruff, Luna, Twilight Sparkle, and Pipsqueak meet up with the RS characters at their town for some costume night games.
 
It’s a game of basketball. Though Luna is still trying to adapt to the world of today, she’s willing to play, having learned from friends about such things. She’s on Mordecai’s team along with Twilight, Ruff, Pipsqueak, and Pops.
 
Rigby’s team includes High-Five Ghost, Muscle Man, Skips, and Benson. He believes he’ll win the game because Mordecai’s team has girls in it.
 
He decides to make the game interesting by making yet another bet with Mordecai. I mean, he already won the last bet with him (although he cheated) and Mordecai dyed his hair blonde.
 
He bets Mordecai that if he wins the game, Mordecai has to work as his slave for a week. But if Mordecai wins…well, considering it’s Luna’s first game, Rigby must do whatever she says on Nightmare Night.
 
The game is set to motion, and with a little magic and some quick dog speed and a determined little colt, the game becomes tied.
 
Then Muscle Man makes a fowl when he slams into Ruff. That serves Mordecai’s team a chance to earn penalty points by shooting the basket. They all insist Luna take the shot.
 
Though the moon princess is a little nervous, she’ll do so for Ruff’s sake.
 
She shoots…she scores.
 
That means when Nightmare Night comes, Rigby must do whatever Luna asks him to do.
 
Boy, is the raccoon pissed off. But the rest of his team congratulate Luna on her victory, even High-Five Ghost gives her a special high-five. Or high-hoof.
 
And yes, High-Five Ghost harbors a secret crush on Princess Luna.
 
And no, Ruff’s not being creepy when he’s touching her tail without her noticing. It’s just so soft and wavy and gorgeous, who can resist touching it?
