Someone asked if I do shipping. Honestly friendshipping is much more my jam, but there are some shipping pics I’ll admit are cute.
With shipping at least one of the characters is in love with the other, friendshipping has moments that are similar to shipping but the relationship is still platonic for both characters

It’s delightful and beautiful and warm and friendly and perfect :) From your establishing shot to the blocking and camera angles in the closeups, to the wonderfully drawn expressions on Rarity and Pinkie, it conveys so much meaning, and you tell the story so well - it’s a master’s class in doing a two-subject comic :) Thank you so much for creating it and sharing it :)
Rarity has a history of showing her love with her lips, and her being ok with kissing hooves is canon.
And it’s clear from the cartoon that Rarity is showing her concern and love for Pinkie, at which point Pinkie’s pain and anxiety is primary, and personal feelings of “gross-ness” is secondary.
Friendship: it’s magic. A magic strong enough to make people care for others, even if others might find it “gross”.
