I guess people don’t like discussing it, ‘cause it’s a bit touchy for some, while others feel really bad about it.

Some don’t even like discussing things like slavery, WW2, the holocaust, and other ugly moments in history.

Hey man, I’d like to ask you something, why do people seem so divided on the topic of Native Americans? I’ve been a few forums, and I’ve seen the comment section of some videos on YT which were virtually cancerous. But it’s like people can’t just accept that the genocide of the Native Americans occurred, during a time in history which wasn’t known for being so great between Europe and other places in the world.
But America came to be, and it changed the world, for better or worse. But it’s like everyone’s so polarized on the topic, either people spouting Ethnocentric BS every time I look.

I don’t either, I just appreciate my ancestry, as well as Native-American/Indian culture. (I’ve even attended real indian Pow-Wows before.) I don’t go around bragging about it though. As I said, many Americans are part Indian, so it’s not a big deal, or as unusual as some think.

And yeah, it kinda does. lol watch the hands, dude!

I couldn’t care less about ethnic identity and all that. I just came here because I have the mentality of an 8-year-old and thought it was funny that it looked like Braeburn was grabbing Little Strongheart’s chest.

Actually, they have DNA tests that can track your ancestry. Even black people have discovered they have Indian blood. So it’s ignorant to assume that Americans having Indian blood is unusual, or all faked. (Heck, one time my family went to a Pow-Wow, some people thought my Dad was a full Indian.) I’ve known many people with Indian blood, and if you look closer at them, you can see some ethnic traits in them. So to assume just ‘cause a person looks “white,” or something doesn’t mean they are 100%. Genetics isn’t something as simple as skin color. There are even some half-black people who look white.

I will admit I dislike people who flaunt it, or lie about it, but to claim we all do that, or we shouldn’t be proud of it, is kinda insulting, and close-minded on your part.

And frankly I didn’t know any of those celebraties were part Indian, nor really seen them brag about it either. You need to chill.

interracial relationships between American Indians/Native Americans, and white people were very common, and many Americans now have mixed blood. (I’m a mix too with Cherokee.)

… I don’t think so! Most of them are for “Hey, I’m half native american, my great great great greatfather was Geronimo, or Crazy Horse, or Sitting Bull… I’m ethnic, I’m cool, I can dressing like an indian and not offend anyone, I can make the rain dance; wowowowowowo!!!”
See the Hollywood superstar… Cameron Diaz, Anjelina Jolie, Quentin Tarantino, Cher, Kim Basinger, Kevin Kostner and Megan Fox; they are the TIPICAL example of “I’m par injun, and I’m cool”!!!

Never been much of a ‘shipper, but this is real cute. Looks like somebody wants them to be together.

Y’know, I find it odd people think this kinda thing was rare, but interracial relationships between American Indians/Native Americans, and white people were very common, and many Americans now have mixed blood. (I’m a mix too with Cherokee.) Some lighter-skinned Indians were even able to pretend to be white to avoid discrimination.

They briefly showed up in the background several times in Appleloosa’s Monst Wanted, but that’s about it. Little Strongheart didn’t even get to show up there. A shame, because I actually liked her. Fortunately, she’s supposed to pair up with Rainbow Dash for one of the upcoming comics.

I’m curious but has anyone noticed that there hasn’t been anything to do with the buffalo’s in the series now? I mean besides that one episode with Cheese Sandwich there’s been little to do with the buffalo’s directly in show. As for comics, are they there more or not?
