Yeah, reinstalling the game or the OS is pretty much a nightmare, as it did happen to me once before… after the lesson of nearly lost my game progress, I decided to learn at least how to do a backup for my game file. And… the backup apps became my friend ever since.
From my perspective, never trust the cloud save. Most likely you will unable to retrieve back your save file again if you heavily rely on that.
He he, there are plenty of guides and tutorials around, feel free to search around. XD
You know what, just forget about this money grubbing mobile game and wait for a better mlp game instead. XD
P/S: I love that “dasherina” and “rainbow fash” tags. :-)
I don’t even try. Every time I have to reinstall my phone OS or do a /system wipe, I lose all my progress.
I haven’t figured out how to access the social functions or the cloud save, either, which is mildly annoying.
Eeyup. Just lots of dedication and time being used up. XD

The last time I looked up at the savecloud online system in the game, my current gameplay hours is at 149 hours in total…
||And please… I know it seems to be “suspicious”, but come on people, and my dear gameloft friends in the game, please stop reporting me as hacking or cheating. I’m sick of it man, even the gameloft staff themselves already sent me PMs that I’m totally clean, come on. ||

your current filter.Anyway…. the bits will eventually piled up this much if you play as long as I do, cause you can’t really do anything much about them, as you have no options to spend them anymore at the “ending part” of the game.
As for the gems, the numbers is not stable most of the time, cause you know, freaking more than 80+ of the characters required average 300 gems per character to unlocked them, arghhh.
Just go and ask anyone around who play this game randomly, and I’m pretty sure they will agree with me.
Not to mention the number of gems needed to spend in dresses, quests, decorations etc etc…
Hence, my gems number will NEVER reach up to 1000 before. :-(
So far, I had unlocked 206 characters out of 220, and some of them is “VIP exclusive”, seriously?

Well, at least the mane 6 (yup, only the mane 6 can be dressed up in the game) are no longer trotting around town naked, ||except for that apple horse with that stetson hat… Dx ||

I just coincidentally that I had the extra supplies in the canterlot boutique sitting there doing nothing, since I just straight away go and unlocked the best outfit for the mane six initially, which are the “power ponies” and the “costumes in hearth’s warming eve”.
My target is that “boost up the score in the minecart game” powerup. As for the others, pretty much useless…
Be honest, I kinda like the “zero vip” status, as it just further proved that I did not spend any real money in this game at all, and I still able to go this far. XD
On the bad side, lots of stuff and certain unnamed background ponies are still freaking lock because I’m not a vip… ||and I don’t care. ;-P ||

Well, they did introduce the VIP level system only recently, so it seems likely that this person simply hasn’t spent any real money on the game since then.
(I’m of the mindset of “if I can get it without spending real money, I’ll wait however long I need to”, so I have no idea how the VIP system works.)

Just in case, no offense, if you guys didn’t noticed or understand the VIP level system on top of the screenshot, “VIP 0” just means that zero hard earned cash was spent in this game.
In case you guys were just curious, I even get rainbow dash to dress up like the one in the screenshot immediately after that. XD

That’s really what it boils down to. Very little (if anything) in this game actually requires real money to do, it’s just a matter of if you’re willing to wait for it.
From the amount of bits and gems they have, this person has thrown hundreds (if not thousands) of dollars into the game, just because they don’t want to wait for stuff.
I’ll never understand that kind of mindset.
