Just because you would never do something doesn’t mean other people haven’t made it work. No one “has to” stick to one partner.
And in a world like Equestria, polygamy would be even more wide spread than it is in real life.

I can understand the corssbreading. It works because they are candy colored ponies and dragons in a magically land filled with magic and friendship. I just don’t get the whole, “Two Wives” thing. You gotta stick to one. I know I’d never date someone who loved me as well as someone else. They’d have to choose.
