It’s like that one episode of Wander Over Yonder with Brad Starlight; a self-proclaimed ‘hero’ trying to ‘save’ a princess from a dragon monster who just so happens to be a nice guy marrying the princess. Funny thing is, the princess kicked Brad’s ass in the end and was all ‘This isn’t a fairy tale.’

Aw yeah, Anon knows how to make the right choice!

Normally, I’d say the knight missed out in not saving both the dragon and the Princess (because if you are really that good of a knight, you can), just like in the knight saving the dragon and leaving the princess behind. But then I took a closer look at the picture and it looks like it was Ember who was chained up to that tower. She really was the princess in danger here. That other “princess” doesn’t looked locked up or in trouble, other than being in a window. I bet she could have left at any time and wanted to watch someone beat up some innocent dragon to “save her”.
 
 
Thus looks like the knight did the right thing. Although, he may want to come back later to make sure that woman (and any of her associates) don’t chain up some other creature to her tower and try to make some guy with a sword fight it for her amusement.
