well, they lose hair, feathers and… skin sort of, but the rest is rather remarkably preserved. I always imagined them more like mummies than zombies.

I may be no expert on ghouls, but Derpy is lucky no parts are flying off from preforming such a move.

I always figured it was more pegasus magic than fancy wings that kept them in flight.
