I myself was fairly floored by the backstories of much of Doffy’s Family.
 
I agree that such is proper and shall eagerly await each new update for the moment when that happens.

It’s only proper. Characters like Papyra are always bound to have hidden depths in good stories and stuff.
 
For example, I disliked Amethyst on Steven Universe until I saw more of her backstory; now she’s practically cool to me.
