That game is pretty awesome too. (Most feel it was better, in fact.)
“Revenge of the Gator” (made by HAL) is pretty good, and is sort’ve a prequel to “Kirby’s Pinball Land.”
Broken link, replacing:
Apparently in Spinball it’s actually called “Rexxon” with two x’s.
Actually, they also appeared in the third bonus level too. Scratch, and Cluck from the cartoons also cameo’d. This is because the game was made in America by S.T.I. (Sega Technical Institute, Sega’s former USA based development team.) and apparently they wanted to promote the cartoons at the time.
I assume the scream was meant to sound electronic to go with the pinball theme.
I have, though I can’t remember my best score. (Don’t care what anyone says, I loved that game. I think the reason people hate it, is ‘cause they’re too focused on trying to beat all the levels, rather then just play it like a pinball game, and get better at it first.)
I hear M2 might be remaking it for the 3DS Eshop. Wonder what new features it’ll have. (Besides level select.)
@Jarkes
The Rexon? (And yeah, I know it’s alot bigger then the Rexons from Sonic 2’s Hill Top Zone.) I suppose it would be freaky to a child that young.
I beat it once on the original cartridge, myself
I have it on Sonic’s ultimate Genesis Collection for my PS3.
I managed to beat the game. Once. On the Sonic Mega Collection disc.
The furthest I’ve gotten is the second boss. But I died and got a game over.
Seriously, that thing gave me nightmares as a kid. It’s why I never got past the first area. …It probably didn’t help that I was like 3 or 4 when I had the Sega Genesis.
I know that feel. >_>
