Stupid Idea I had last night and wanted to get out of my system. Bubblegum Thievery. You know how it works.
No version on Tumblr just yet because I can’t even open the site right now, thanks to my ISP doing maintenance.
I reduced the spoon to the heart part, because I don’t think any self-respecting teenager would run around with a tablespoon dangling from their neck/clothes. Unless you eat lots of icecream or yoghurt all the time.
tl;dr - the closest to a DiaXSpoon (I really need a humanly acceptable (nick)name for Silver Spoon) image you get…for now.

Draw more of it.
it’s been 2 months and there’s still no more gum-swap kissu art on here Dx wtf
Yeah, I’m not a fan of MMC.
I think if Lost Mark had been a two-parter, it would’ve been one of the best episodes of the series. As it stands, it’s a solid - if flawed - episode.
@Darth Sonic
Agreed.
Yeah, with the exception of Pinkie Pride, musicale episodes share a flaw: they should have been Two-Parters instead.
Raiders was still superior to MMC, though.
True. Also it would have made better sense if the CMC actually wanted to boast to Diamond that she losted to a blank flank but than they see Spoiled Rich yell at her and than feel bad for her.
Edited
IMHO, the overall story was good, but the execution was flawed.
Yeah, It kinda felt out of nowhere that the CMC instantly decided to check up on DT after she lost the election, because of how mean she was them.
yes. Kind of as a joke, since she is releasing steam from her ears as she’s overheating XD
@signingjoe
Honestly, I think Diamond’s redemption would’ve been a whole lot easier to swallow if Crusaders of the Lost Mark had been a two-parter and had more time to build towards its resolution.
Allow to do the unpopular and quote (paraphrase, rather) the Bible. In response to the question, “How many times are we obligated to forgive somebody?”, Jesus had this to say: “If they’re an ass to you, tell them off. And if they apologize, forgive them every time.”
@signingjoe
In short; don’t be a dick. Forgiveness is a virtue.
On the issue about the show; it’s more about continuity issues between the seasons and the fact that the show only has 30 minutes for a moral lesson mainly directed to a younger audience. I agree with you that sometimes the writers fob the ending, in fact I see that in more than one episode. Where the writers basically forget the time constrains and blitz the ending, “Oh yeah, sure, I’ll be friends with you after you just tried to kill me and my friends just five seconds ago!” It’s very hard to flesh out realistic emotional solution when you only have 30 minutes of airtime.
On the moral; the way I see it the moral was more towards “there’s always a reason behind every action”. Why was (insert person here) such a (insert label here)? Oh, (insert reason here) was the dominating factor. If we analyze that episode even further and read between every line, we can see that DT just didn’t have a bad mother figure guiding her actions, but lived in a very toxic environment where every material possession was just given to her, except for love and kindness. Her parents saw position, wealth, and stature as more valuable that equality, love, and tolerance. DT’s own mother saw every reason to belittle anyone she saw as inferior, even her own daughter’s failings. That would screw up anyone!
As for your issue on sympathize and forgiveness; I believe Jonathan Lockwood Huie said it best, “Forgive others, not because they deserve forgiveness, but because you deserve peace.” Forgiveness isn’t about the person receiving the forgiveness, it’s about the forgiver. So to answer your question; yes, yes we should.
I agree that it’s very difficult to accept the shows portrayal of DT as a “tragic antagonist” when the fandom can characterize her far better like Skorp does. I was not a fan of the episode where she was supposed to go from the CMC main issue to their instant friend in under 30 minutes after several seasons of her just being utterly horrible to them.
That kind of behavior is more than just parental influence, she just became an awful pony who bullied because she genuinely believed having a cutie mark made her better than others. We didn’t get any indication that there was something going on behind the scenes, and then suddenly we are expected to sympathize and forgive her?
Seriously, there needs to be a “Getting Spiked” image of Spike and Diamond Tiara at some point-
I truly wonder how the Casanova of the group (who uncannily have the minds…and panties ;)… of quite a few women), and what seems to be the ultimate flirt. I wonder if that needs to be commissioned or just be looking for it.
