I see. I was referring to booru Rule #7 which didn’t explicitly say that it isn’t required for embeds from the booru

it’s true, you don’t have to spoiler embedded images as they are covered by any filters you may or may not have turned on.
It’s an embed. If you don’t have it spoilered, it’s your own problem. Or a bug in Derpibooru if you do, but the spoiler fails to show.
