Like @Dirty Bit said, “rule of funny”, plus the rule that the punch that hurts the most is the one you didn’t see coming. Anon was prepared to fight the spider and was tense up during the attack to brace himself. Here, he has let his guard down thinking this is an incoming hug. It is going to hurt.
