One of the old tricks “pro” wrestlers used to use to give themselves what appeared to be a major head injury was to take broken-off corner of a razor blade with electrical tape on one end so they could hold it, the ref would palm this, then hand it off to them at some point. They’d palm it, and when going in for a head or face “slam” into a post, they would put their arms up as if to block, but they’d take the piece of razor blade and quickly stab a spot in their scalp. Instant massive blood flow, with minimal scarring due to it being a small puncture wound.
