The amount of capitalism with that statement arouses me.
Capitalism and sweatshop labor are amongst my fetishes.
In a race of creatures that are usually naked, of course it’s the six-story behemoth that needs an outfit.
I mean, they even did the little hat. For a relative definition of “little”. That thing could house a family of four.
Just imagine how much the maid outfit cost. How many acres of textile crops went into it, how much effort in Garment District sweatshops, how many ponyhours spent creating all of that lace.
Maybe they just picked up the molted feathers.
Unless whatever caused Applejack to grow was used on the duster as well… but your idea is more fun
