I’m aware that the stereotype isn’t taken to its worst extreme in this case. I’m just tired of marriage being represented (generally) in only one way in entertainment.
@BigBadSeed
Their marriage wasn’t collapsing, anon just decided to make igneous to remember that his wife is worth pursuit efforts even after she is already “bagged and locked”.
I believe that Cloudy kept those long locks in the same pocket universe where her pink daughter stores her party cannon. No ordinary bun could contain that much mane.

And this is why I’m egalitarian, because I recognize that society is unequal to everyone. I can’t blame society too much, though, because it’s just a byproduct of how we actually evolved to see anyone different based on interactions as a child. People ARE different after all. However, people are not THAT different. Society does exaggerate actual differences that exist by a good deal, after all. Most of it is physical, but some slight differences are mental. Fixing the problem isn’t treating everyone as if they are the same, but giving everyone the same rights and privileges, which is pretty much how society is right now minus a few subtle issues that can still ruin lives due to unfairness.
Society gets better and better every year, but then a certain group wants to reverse all progress made and make one sex higher than the other, while pretending the other sex has no problems whatsoever.
@Align
I’d say it’s a cliche because society doesn’t take male complaints seriously, and, given the choice, would rather blame something on a male than a female.
@BigBadSeed
It’s cliché because it’s a common problem; most of us grow up with the understanding that manliness requires sucking it up etc, so the husband is often reluctant to address any perceived problems out loud.
