That’s the way I’ve felt my whole life. Like I’ve had to get a relationship just to be considered a normal human being and not some kind of freak. And that has contributed to my bitterness towards the whole thing.Shoot, so you’re a victim of that trap too, eh? Well, just do what I did and say “My romantic pursuits have nothing whatsoever to do with my value as a human being”. And if anyone tries to tell you otherwise, they can piss off. If your parents complain that they want grandkids (like mine do), tell them to deal with it. Our lives are our own.

And that’s perfectly okay. Honestly, I think it’s a real problem when folks try and make it seem like you’re doing something wrong if you stay single. If that sort of mindset is imposed upon people, then they’re likely to try and get a relationship not because they actually want one, but because they think it’s what society expects from them. And that’s just an invitation for all sorts of heartache. I kinda fell into that trap once.

Well, if you were in a relationship with the other not doing much in return. Just know, they too gotta work to keep it stable.

Having someone to love and protect can actually ease the nerves and stress.
And think about it this way too: It’s been a hard day. You’ve been working like the Pony Express. You’re filled with so much stress and anger that you could punch someone. Someone walks over to you, but you know them really well. They ask you about your day. They give you a hug, a kiss on the cheek, then a kiss on the lips. The person’s arms stay wrapped around you, and they ask if you want to wach somthing on Netflix instant streaming while cuddling on the couch.
Who is this person? That is your love partner, or lover for short. They share the same responsibility as you do in keeping one another happy. Wouldn’t that be kickass? Someone who asks you if you want a snuggle? Or even getting lucky? Imagine it: Sex practically on demand, or requested from you.
