If I can make a random guess, maybe the artwork is a reference to a herm story starring Hum!Sonic in a massive female crossover fanfic.
I had come across a few stories base on that subject (not about Sonic, but other male characters…I think), usually Princess Peach will always end up being on that list of females among others from the Mario series.
And as to be expected the fanfic will be clustered with an unholy amount of series tags and usually never got finished. Never liked those kinds of fanfics.

I mean, I can see what’s literally happening, but it remains to be seen how any of this makes sense. It’s like someone grabbed a handful of unwitting fanfics and threw them in the poffin blender from Pokémon DPPt. That said, there’s nothing objectively wrong with this artwork. I’m just terribly confused as to what any of it means.
