That sounds badass.
If that’s true I am even happier that I am not a faust fanboy
All the MLP wiki has to say about it is a link to Faust saying that Scootaloo and Rainbow dash aren’t related, and they research the Tartarus out of everything they post. I think any unsourced claim that Faust didn’t want them around can be safely salt-grained given the Season 1 talk of them getting their own spinoff.
Well, I stopped keeping track of the sources of such statements when I realized most bronies arguing about this stuff would find some excuse or explanation to ignore anything that disagreed with their favored interpretation. (“Here’s where Lauren Faust writes that Spike is a little kid.” “She doesn’t work on the show anymore.” “Here’s where Meghan McCarthy says that Spike is a little kid.” “She only writes a couple of episodes a season.” etc.) I was hoping for your sake that someone else would come along with the source, but I guess almost everyone else has moved on from this image.
@Background Pony #26E9
I knew that Hasbro requested/ordered the inclusion of Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle to be partnered with Apple Bloom; I’ve never read or heard anything about Faust hating the idea of the Cutie Mark Crusaders, and she strikes me as too diplomatic to say something that bluntly critical.
Did you know that Apple Bloom (Originally Appleseed) was originally going to be alone in her quest for her cutie mark and that Lauren hated the idea of the Cutie Mark Crusaders?
HEY! I heard that before but I could never find the official source. Did she said that in an interview or what?
You do realize that her initial plans for MLP:FiM involved the Night Mare Moon arc lasting the entire season, and the show being about evenly split between adventure and slice-of-life episodes, right?
Oh hey, given your obvious insider knowledge of the animation industry, can you tell me what changes Sony wanted to Medusa that caused Lauren Faust to give up and go home again?
@ArrJaySketch
Obviously, because it would prove she was an artistic sellout riding the coattails of more talented animation creators. She only deserves /mlp/‘s respect if she stays with her project, whatever the costs to her health, and integrates whatever changes required by studio executives in such a way as to make her project even better. If Sony wants to turn Medusa into a remake of “The Ugly Duckling”, Faust needs to make the best darn “Ugly Duckling” remake the world’s ever seen, even if such a project goes directly counter to her initial plans for the project.
Don’t think I could look Lauren Faust in the eyes after all the sexual fantasies of her though.
BTW since when does being a fuckup make you a detestable person?
Yeah,she start to become the poor man John Kricfalusi
Also yum ,the delicious irony of channers who hailed her as a goddess suddenly turn back against her.
Should i say it,yeah i’ll say it
I TOLD YOU SO
Wait, what exactly are you so butthurt about here? There doesn’t appear to be any actual point to your wailing.
Back when it was first announced that Lauren was working for Sony, many people brought up the same concern. Sony Pictures tends to regularly replace directors on their movies. There was a concern that they wouldn’t keep her, no matter what Lauren did.
If Sony forced Medusa to be a shitty movie and Lauren still stayed on it, would /mlp/ shit on Lauren anyway for not sticking to her guns?
I personally believe they have a valid reason to be upset with her. She bails on any project where she can’t everything done exactly according to her plans.
Yay! Now we can hear more about how a popular show didn’t follow the plan of a creator that bailed on it at the height of its popularity because they thought they could write their own ticket at another network.
Twilight being an alicorn… It’s a joke m8
what is canon ?
