I’ll say, given that I had no real problem with Flash save from being a random love interest, that this was a completely benign reappearance. I’ll joke he was bedroom-eyeing Twi there, but in the larger picture, he’s Cadance’s lead guard, he didn’t talk, end of appearance. That’s a nice nod without pandering or forcing.

That eternal buttmad. It amuses me.

That’s not what I meant; he was worthless in the movie, at least in my opinion, because he is bland and uninteresting. Giving him a cameo in the show is bad for the sole reason of him simply being there in the show, when he should only appear in Equestria Girls; saying EQG is non canon will also be more difficult now.

Yeah, if Grumpy Cat, Slender and now Flash is any indication Friendship is Magic is hardly “Meghan’s show”.

Maybe they could put Derpy and Flash in the same scene just to screw with the minds of the Bronies.

I can’t help but get a chuckle out of some of these reactions to Flash. You guys wanted Derpy back, but apparently it came with a minor cost.
 
The truth, however, is that Pony Flash Sentry is a completely different individual than Brad. So lighten up.
