I loved these little bouts. Showed that yes, Twi has brute power and understands spells, even combat.  
But she does not have the will, finesse or experience to do diddly without just charging in blasting.

Twilight if you didn’t telegraph your moves so much, maybe you’d hit more often. You did this in the first episode this season too.
