so he’s like a LOT of wwe fans (except stopping short of wanting someone to die for change to happen)?
I love “hasdrone”, it’s one of those words that people don’t even realize is a worthless opinion self-indentifier.
And when I pointed out that he was changing the terms of the bet, he called me a “Hasdrone” and blocked me. Checkmate.
I checked his Twitter, and he claims “Equestria Girls interfered two (almost 3) times” with season 5. When pressed for those examples, though, he just mentioned Twilight’s time-loop dialog at the end of EG:FG, and brushed off the observation that it wasn’t a case of the series referring to Equestria Girls. So, yeah, he’s wrong and he knows it, but he’s trying to bluff.
Did he say how he won the bet? Was he still clinging to the castle library as a monkeyworld reference, or did he make some other connection?
I only see his tweets because of the ones directed at show staff, but I agree with you.
okay but if you’re following murrison on twitter i’m pretty sure you’re the one who lost
>I sorta doubt he mentioned this “bet” at any point since then.
He was literally gloating on twitter about how he “won” the bet right after the finale aired.
@The Smiling Pony
Aaaaye, Latin! :D
He challenged Ishi Rudell to donate 6 months’ salary to charity if EqG was referenced at any point in S5, offering to stop commenting online if it wasn’t. And Murrison declared that “Castle Sweet Castle” referenced the EqG movies by mentioning the cryscastretletal had a library; I sorta doubt he mentioned this “bet” at any point since then.
@TheAntiCat
Like how Meghan McCarthy knew that Dreamy Cutebottom wasn’t going to be a character in S4? (And for the record, I would argue that he was a “background pony” and thus not a character in any meaningful sense, but try arguing that to any EqG haters and see how far you get.)
Or it is like how laws are to actual pirates.
Grammar is kinda like Pirate’s Code. It’s more like guidelines than actual rules. :P
What makes that particularly funny, is that show staff already knows what’s going to happen to a far-in-the-future degree. An easy bet to make against a dumbfuck.
Wow, if that’s true then one letter of a typo REALLY changes the context.
