Eenope, the white bg version was saved. Whoever merged it dun goofed.

It seems the version that was uploaded and subsequently got merged to this was from the DA page, which does indeed have a transparent background but is actually slightly lower res (800x920, as opposed to this version’s 860x940).  
…Which turns out not to even matter since comparing the two in GIMP reveals that they’re actually both exactly the same except this version has more padding around the edges for some reason.
