The fact of the matter is that no matter what way this happens, injury is imminent. While getting one’s teeth knocked out would be a major concern for a straighforward buttgrab, simply going around and grabbing her by her midsection in order to pull her out might not necessarily be worth the pain dealt out afterwards. Well, freeing her from the rock should still be the main priority, but I digress - we’re discussing the optimal way to free her from the rock, not the action therein.
 
I believe that the best way to balance the risk/reward factor involved in pulling her out of this rock would be to initiate the action as you suggested, by going around and grabbing her by her midsection and then beginning to pull her out. However, while working to free her from the rock, one should begin to sneak their hand towards the tail end of her body. While the injury afterwards might be nominally worse on account of how she would feel the hand slowly sliding upwards, the primary objective would still be obtained and I firmly believe that the reward would outweigh the cost of the numerous bruises and lacerations that would happen after she had been set free.

Meh; the tail would be far safer, and at least she’d get free that way, or at least learn of the presence of another.
 
Butt-grab? She’ll kick your teeth out, and she still won’t be able to get out.

Go around the rock, circling it until you approach Limestone from the side to avoid the “hoofy-kicks”. Wrap your arm around her middle, possibly locking it in place with your other arm, gripping your hands together while still facing the giant rock. Get your foot up onto the rock, and use your leg to push away from it, with your arm wrapped underneath the body, but in front of the hind legs of Limestone Pie. The force should propel her out.
 
She’ll be mad for you helping and for touching the rock, but it’s nothing that some ice and bedrest shouldn’t be able to fix.

Thing is, though, she would probably break the person who pulled her tail in half.
 
Is a tail pull worth it as much as a full on butt grab? The way I see it, the person who pulls her out is in for a black eye or two anyway, so might as well go full on with it.
