I would like to say that people dislike Teen Titans Go for many reasons beyond it “not being a serious show”; most are well aware that is a comedy, and just think that is aggressively unfunny. The episode about saying the word waffles as much as possible comes to mind… Obnoxious advertising (“Your new favorite show” and “Have a laugh once in a while”) and being played to a ridiculous degree on Cartoon Network (if it was a masterpiece, it wouldn’t deserve all the time it has) has not helped at all either. That one interview where they complained about people “stealing” jokes while making a series that directly takes many elements from another, including all of the main characters, also didn’t really calm anything, nor did the two episodes they did as a response to the people who didn’t like it… For further details…

That’s fine but I wasn’t referring to you guys. I mean’t the people who are hating on this on principle like joining a bandwagon. Overall this cover is a beautiful tribute and love letter to the original comics.

That’s fine. For me it was ok but the longer I watched it the more I got to see the characters grow and become a family. It was like a love letter to fans. Not like that Teen titans go bullshit.

ultimate’s a hit and miss for me personally. the team concept is intriguing but the lack of actual team kinda hurts the show.
