Crotchboobs versus teats

Crotchboobs came about entirely because of milky way, iirc. She was the first character with enormous human-like breasts to gain any traction. The definition was simple: oversized or human-style breasts on a pony were crotchboobs. A lot of the crotchboobs tags since we’re only added because of parcly’s implication dropping the tag on images people tagged with teats.
 
Which is why I want to restore the old way of tagging. This entire debate wouldn’t even be happening if not for the implication fuckup.

Not directly. The implication will have caused a behavioural change after a while, as users saw more images getting the tag and do started tagging in accordance with the apparent trend. It could also be seen to have resulted in impossibly large crotchboobs as an attempt to differentiate the two again.

I dunno man. Looking at the changes. It seems crotchboobs was used for any and all kinda of crotch mammaries even 5 years ago. And Teats only really came about 3-4 years ago.

I was pretty sure crotchboobs didn’t exist until Milky Way.

Well crotchboobs was used over a year before teats even. Dunno when Milky way began, but looking at this site: First pic of her was >>83011, and comments there indicate she existed before the site. [also noticed your frowny face comment on her pic. lol] Then the next one not until >>148740
 
Either way. It seems Crotchboobs was the name in use on the site long before teats, so I’m fine with accepting that as the fandom’s accepted “term”. Undoing 5 years of mindset on the subject doesn’t sound fun.
 
At this point I’m sticking with my original plan. Since Crotchboobs has been around the site before teats, and is on over 7,000 more images. I’m using that as the all encompassing term/“nickname” for crotchboobs. And tagging “teats” on the more appropriately/“realistic” sized ones.
 
“Impossibly large” can stand as the indicator for those that are exceptionally large. So we have the general nickname term, the small sized identifier, and the large size identifier.

May as well get on with it then.

Tag names should be self-explanatory, since definitions don’t show up when adding tags. I think “reasonably sized crotchboobs” would be more consistent with the other tags. Currently, there are tons of imagesd tagged with both “teats” and “impossibly large crotchboobs”.

The “crotchboob[s]” term’s been around a little bit longer than the FiM fandom: [1], [2], [3] (NSFW links, unsurprisingly).
