I mean, didn’t they literally do that with the Roe v. Wade decision? Republican hack judges picked by a Republican president and confirmed by a Republican Senate overturn abortion rights, a long time Republican goal, and what did you see? I’m not sure what a sane person is supposed to do when the literal takeaway some people have to these things is to ask “why didn’t the democrats save us in advance from what the republicans we voted for did?”.
