From a business perspective this plan makes no sense. This is the sort of thing one does to make it stand out from its competitors, but right now Sony is top dog in the market. It’s make far more sense for Microsoft to make this move. This leads me to believe that this is being driven by morality rather than dollars, unless of course those dollars are coming from elsewhere. It’s mind boggling.

Someone within Sony thought this was a good idea. I’m just wondering who exactly were involved. And they better be exposed.
 
Corporations sometimes value control and influence over profits. I believe Sony and Microsoft are within the position to exert such. Wonder what money is used to buy? Yeah, as you’ve guess. Influence.  
Influence is the end goal to profits, not money.

However, as many have pointed out.
 
Despite Sony being the top dog in the race. Consoles are a dying market overall, especially in Asia where Mobile games have been gaining ground at an accelerated pace, with PC games remaining strong and even growing.  
So basically what Sony did here was they pretty much handed a declining market to the SJWs.

Nintendo will probably be the sole survivor…..AGAIN. Wont that be a sendoff for console gaming? The one company and console that saved it will probably be the one to turn off the lights when consoles die out.

True that. Mobile games here in Asia are impressive as of late. I remember two years ago playing a free RPG game that’s very reminiscent of old pixel Legend of Zelda games from the SNES era.
 
I sucked at it, but damn was it fun.

Yeah, I noticed that too with the C&C and the Diablo. I mean, in-game purchases should be optional. And not by the most barest of sense, either. Optional as in “just there as exclusives and/or leveling up faster” and not what the current market of “need or else game sucks” meaning.

Sadly, we live in a time of corporate monopolies where their share holders have more say on what goes on the market than consumers do. Shareholders who know jack shit about the consumers in various industries they’ve invested into, injecting poor decisions and SJW bullshit into everything.  
If capitalism is to be great again, then consumers will have to be the ones to take back the system. Break the monopolies and make sure there will always be viable competitions in every industries. Not just the VG industry.

I wanted to bring this up with talking about shows and games that have a specific bent to them:

Rotten Tomatoes has for a while been on thin ice with Ghostbusters 2016 and how they just made it fresh, it seems now they’ve been buying out Audience to artificially inflate the scores for certain shows and movies. This proves the site has bias and some kind of agenda to push.
 
This shows without a doubt they can’t ever stand on their own and the can’t except failure and learn from it. They can’t stand knowing the show was a failure and make the score look better, which will lead to renewal of an unpopular product. Whether this is DreamWorks or RT itself I don’t think it matters, only that they are unwilling to except it’s a bad show. Many giving 5 Stars are very new accounts.
 
I remember someone joke “First will come Tumblr, then the bots.” It’s kind of scary to find out how correct that was.

Any movie with “certified fresh on Rotten tomatoes” paid for that, And now they’re skewing the audience scores.
 
This is a new low.

Honestly, I really like the She-Ra reboot. It has good animation, solid writing and fun characters. The designs can take some getting used to but I enjoyed it.

Wow. Unreal. Sony has actually managed to one-up Steam (which up till recently was utterly draconian about anything adult-ish) in the censorship department.
 
If there’s any justice in the world, the PS4’s successor will fail so badly it knocks Sony out of the console market.

Eh, you do you. I enjoyed it, I don’t care about any political message it had, and I’m giving it a 6.5 out of 10.
 
It’s not that high of a score because it had a few problems plotwise that annoyed me. But ignoring that and the show is good.

I kind of enjoyed it myself. I wish Adora, Glimmer, etc. we’re better looking though (especially when you compare them to their 80’s incarnations), but it was still somewhat enjoyable.
