Paprika: Wow, really?? No fighting? You’re not even gonna try to get my key?!
Pom: No–No, this is fine… Mmm… warm…
Paprika: Hee, you know it!
First of all, FUND IT!! I’ve never been a huge fan of fighting games, but I am slowly falling in love with the characters in “Them’s Fightin’ Herds”. I’d like to see it fully funded, if only because I want to hear the story.
Ever since I heard of them and their character descriptions, I came to the idea that Pom Lamb and Paprika Paca are hardly the aggressive sort of fighters. Paprika’s just too rough with her affections, and Pom simply doesn’t want to fight. But what happens when the two meet? Well with such a lamb like Pom, she’d snap like a twig from Paprika’s normal firmness! And well, the little scaredy would be entirely enthusiastic about someone saying they wanted to be a friend in a strange land outside her fields. She may have lost her key, but she got a good friend out of it.
Eh, I don’t know. Anything’s a good excuse for fuzzy fluffy snuggles!
It’s as adorable as it sounds.
One can only hope that those pups are smart enough to know when their owner is in actual distress.

This was taken from the indeigogo page:
“And to make things worse, her puppies’ protective instincts make them formidable fighters. She keeps winning the key! So the other Key Seekers keep tracking her down, picking fights!”
So on a technicality, she did/does own the enchanted key, thus making it hers to lose, right?
None of them have keys. They’re all fighting each other for the right to claim the enchanted key, of which there is only the one, to keep the Predators locked in The Hold before they escape.
Wait, a fighter with a reason the characters are fighting, this is revolutionary! XP
But yeah, sounds like a neat thing, definitely going to try and get it if it succeeds.
There’s lore written on the homepage about it. Basically the predators, Foenum’s monsters escaped, and It’s up to each race to decide a key bearer to lock the predators back up. Now they’re competing over the key. It’s a little more detailed on the site.
