ah yeah right… problem is anthro doesnt exist either.. in real… life ?
I am a mod who agrees with this comment.
u wot m8
Last I checked, anthros had tails… and muzzles… and, well, details other than just mildly pointy horse-esque ears and a horn in the middle of their head.
Looking at the artist’s other work, they’re plantigrade with human feet. They’ve got zero horse traits beyond the ears and horns, hell, the alicorns and pegasi don’t even have wings.
Normally I wouldn’t change the tag because I know some people get really ‘fussy’ about that kind of thing, but I don’t really think these count as anthro unless EqG does, given that they’ve got fewer equine traits than the official humanizations, and a quick glance shows that the EqG RD with her wings is considered a ‘winged humanization’, so… yeah, that’s pretty cut and dry.
For reference to what I’m talking about:
Anthro:
“Anthros are bipedal versions of four-legged creatures or characters and may have all hooves or hooves and hands or hands and feet, depending on the style of the individual artist. Anthros generally have tails and muzzles. Also boobs.”
Humanized:
“A non-human character drawn as a human. May include a tail, wings, pony ears, or a horn. For humanized art with tails, wings, pony ears, or horns include also the tags tailed humanization, winged humanization, eared humanization, or horned humanization, respectively.”
Emphasis mine, obviously. This is a horned humanization, by Derpi’s own definitions. Also, I do apologize for the ‘long’ post, but I know that if I make it too short then there won’t be enough details in it to let people understand what I’m trying to convey and they’ll just go “>lol opinions” and ignore it all before changing the tag back and starting a stupid tag war. Better to get all the reasoning out beforehand, it’s less of a headache and ensures you won’t have to articulate the ‘why’ behind the change after you’ve been called names by a stranger on the internet.
You can get clothes styled like this, I have an ugly shirt styled to look like it’s wrinkled to this level.
It feels like they used thick thread and thin thread combined.
this is clearly an anthro, not a pone, and anthros usually do wear clothes, so… yeah.
Pones actually dont wear clothes in real life : )
#the artist
Well, yes they are indeed overdone, but for some reason I’m still greatly enjoying looking at this. Maybe I’m just subconsciously ignoring all that, and focusing on how “cool” this looks. Guess it also doesn’t help that I love this artist in general:p
more like the fold detail are overdone
clothes do not get that wrinkled in real life.
