First Chapter: Link

Summary:

5 friends get sucked through a portal and land in Equestria. While 2 of the friends are use to being in Pony form, the others on the other “hoof” aren’t so fortunate. They are soon confronted by Princess Celestia in Canterlot Castle, who senses that these Ponies are new to this world. She offers them to stay in Equestria until whatever force brought them there takes them back home. The group, mainly the 2, decide they wish to stay in Ponyville, where they will soon have a number of adventures with the residence of Ponyville, especially with the Mane 6. Until the day comes that they leave, these 5 will have a Mane-raising time.

It’s not that. It’s the fact that we as a viewer are just thrown all these really bright, really sharp, almost neon-esque colors from the background to the ponies and everything in between without any buffer zone. It’s too much visually and looks like a mess. The background is a bunch of odd shapes, the character colors are so bright they blend in with the background, heck the title of the thing completely camouflages into the blue and red background. It’s important to have some sort of buffer zone between such contrasting colors or else the whole thing becomes muddled.
