At the very least, we should be hopeful it doesn’t put ALL the focus on Twilight. The other 5 last finale had the delightful designation of ‘kidnapped after being left out of the loop’, and weren’t even allowed to speak in their Rainbow Power forms.
 
At most, hopefully this season will continue developing its new theme and incorporate a plot where Twilight should not be treated as the Messiah. Its not just for the excessive attention on Twilight, its also how they paint the other 5 as useless except for charging up the big harmony laser.

Probably. Rainbow Power had about two minutes of screentime total. I cannot see Cutie Mark Magic being any different. X3

Good luck with that though; its doubtful there’s going to be much focus on the others anytime soon: the finale from this season will most probably be an episode revolving around twilight again too.

Yeah, I didn’t really like that episode. I hate it when the other five Bearers of Harmony are pushed to the side or put through unnecessary suffering because Celestia’s playing favorites. They deserve to be alicorns, too.

From what I heard, the accident was not an essential part of creating the spell. Her alicornship was attained once it was complete. Meaning, of course, the entire episode up to the last five minutes was pointless. Uwahahahaha! ;3

Yeah, she did. But is making a new spell really such a great thing that it deserves being turned into an alicorn? Especially if you had to screw up your friends’ lives to do it?

Twilight made a new spell based on an unfinished spell. Nopony seemed to realize it was unfinished though. Nopony even knew what it was supposed to actually do, not even the writers. XD

Damn. Oh well, at least hasbro is going to be releasing an updated version of the original armada starscream toy. That and updated toys based on beast wars and beast machines.

I don’t mean they rebooted transformers: armada, I mean that transformers: armada was a reboot of the transformers series. Sorry to dissapoint :(

I don’t neccecarilly think that’s true all the time though. Transformers is rebooted every so often, and I think that has been INCREDIBLE.
 
I greatly enjoyed what IDW has done with their reboot of G1, I greatly enjoyed the War for cybertron reboot, I even enjoyed the transformers armada reboot.
 
I 100% hope that when MLP:FIM is ended, they reboot FIM as the new benchmark for the series like what transformers g1 was for transformers.

(SPOILERS)You know how, in Shaolin Showdown, Ramundo was chosen to be the Shoku Warrior instead of Umi and it actually felt right? Y’know how if Aang was naturally and permanently better at the other 3 elements over his peers (Katara, Toph and Zuko), it would feel wrong?
 
Twilight became an alicorn by completing a spell…given to by the person nursing her to be perfect since the beginning while ignoring the other 5 elements of harmony.
 
If RD became an Alicorn, it would likely be out of an act of heroism. In fact I wouldn’t be the slightest bit surprised if at a finale, RD became an alicorn out of sheer will and/or Twilight transferring it to her. Rainbow Dash’s entire story motif has been Sonic+Hercules since the beginning of the show.
