But in-show fillies usually don’t have mounds of feathery hair, like our Luna here.

And a lot of shots of Twily with the punklight hairstyle totally or almost totally obscure her horn. So the same should apply to a little filly.

Fillies have been shown to have tiny little horns. I don’t see why alicorns would be different. It can easily be hidden behind her mess of hair.
