Oh the guy who was looking for the six fingered man who killed his father?
Or… um…
SETEFESAMAAKEM.
…Anyone up for some frozen peas?
Nearly every single human civilization on the planet produced traditional naming schemes that recognize distant ancestors or one’s birthplace. People did remember there names, like anyone else would. Tribal allegiance, places of birth, and paternal decent were extremely important things back in the day. Being able to know who one’s great-grandfather is is also important for genologies and to keep cousins from screwing each other. That’s just a universal thing, whether one’s a Irish cattle rancher or a Bedouin nomad.
It is not as if Edward Albert Christian George Andrew Patrick David Windsor’s name is any more or less silly then Siddig El Tahir El Fadil El Siddig Abderrahman Mohammed Ahmed Abdel Karim El Mahdi.
On the other hand, traditional Spanish names include two surnames, and often include the names of saints and famous relatives in them. A good long name is a symbol of pride. Hence, you get a individual like Alfonso Maria Isabel Francisco Eugenio Gabriel Pedro Sebastian Pelayo Fernando Francisco de Paula Pio Miguel Rafael Juan José Joaquin Ana Zacarias Elisabeth Simeón Tereso Pedro Pablo Tadeo Santiago Simon Lucas Juan Mateo Andrès Bartolomé Ambrosio Geronimo Agustin Bernardo Candido Gerardo Luis-Gonzaga Filomeno Camilo Cayetano Andrès-Avelino Bruno Joaquin-Picolimini Felipe Luis-Rey-de-Francia Ricardo Esteban-Protomartir Genaro Nicolas Estanislao-de-Koska Lorenzo Vicente Crisostomo Cristano Dario Ignacio Francisco-Javier Francisco-de Borja Higona Clemente Esteban-de-Hungria Ladislado Enrique Ildefonso Hermenegildo Carlos-Borromoeo Eduardo Francisco-Régis Vicente-Ferrer Pascual Miguel-de-los-Santos Adriano Venancio Valentin Benito José-Oriol Domingo Florencio Alfacio Benére Domingo-de-Silos Ramon Isidro Manuel Antonio de Todos los Santos de Borbón.
So what the fuck? What country would have EVER considered this a good idea? What leader would be mentally challenged enough to allow this?
;D
@drumpowa
Yeah! I’m reminded of the actor Siddig El Tahir El Fadil El Siddig Abderrahman Mohammed Ahmed Abdel Karim El Mahdi… AKA Alexander Siddig (or Siddig El Fadil).
Nice fart joke.
Reminder that there was a guy in the show “the suite life of zack and cody” whose name as esteban julio ricardo montoya dela rosa ramirez.
>thinks Maria’s name is too long
LOL, compared to some other Hispanic or Arabic full names, Maria’s name is the equivalent of Jane Doe.
just look at that thigh ass
