Right tool for the right job, I have AK’s in bother 7.62 and 5.45. Plan on getting the Zavasta PAP M90, takes STANAG in 5.56
My go-to rifle is a CAI Golani in 5.56, and it shoots quite well out to 300 yards. While the 7.62x39 doesn’t have THAT much of a kick, I prefer the smaller calibers for quicker followup shots.
*Yea, so that’s not a practical cartridge anymore, let me dream.
As much as I love that caliber, I think my future redone version of this will also be a 7.62x39.
