I care about the Mane Seven tag.

I never said Spike wasn’t a main character. I also never said the tag (or any tag) shouldn’t not be added if it’s applicable. Basically, I’m saying the “mane seven” tag isn’t extremely important… it’s pretty much a fan concept to begin with and since not everyone bothers to tag every image that has the mane 6 +spike in it with that it’s not something a lot of people would miss either, since given the fact it’s frequently absent people would probably be using the character name tags for searches/filters/whatever. Not saying any tag can’t serve a purpose, but some tags are more important than others, and “mane seven” and even “mane six” tags are generally redundant. It’d be very different if people just weren’t bothering to add the “spike” tag every time for instance.
 
And someone going out of their way to remove tags that are applicable and relevant is a lot different than simply not bothering to add tags that aren’t very important, so that’s a pretty asinine statement to make. Go ahead and try it though and see if the mods agree with you I guess.

i care about other tags no one cares about  
lots of people bitch about other tags  
if a tag is relevant, useful, makes sense, why NOT add it, even if not everyone notices it?
 
that’s alright, next time I’ll just remove the gay and solo male tags next time I see them from relevant images, not like people care about them anyway.
