It’s a website that has pages describing, and chronicalling the “tropes/features” in movies/TV/games/comics/ect. You can also look up any TV show, or game you want. (Be wary of spoilers though.)

It’s kinda fun discussing things sometimes. Plus, I think that tag is appropriate for the image, so it’s not a big deal. The tag actually comes from a TVTropes page.

I bet this comment section will turn into a discussion article. And that just because I put the Barbie Doll anatomy tag but what the hay, somepony would’ve tag it anyway!

Yeah, in a way I find it a bit more tasteful/cleaner in some ways in anthro’ art, (nothing against private parts though, I’m just a li’l bashful, I guess) and a bit easier to draw that way. Even I’m guilty of drawing that way sometimes. (I can’t draw nipples without making them look kinda weird honestly.)  
The anthro/furry fanbase, and anime’ fanbase kinda helped popularize the “Barbie doll anatomy” style.
 
I’ve seem some actually complain about those who draw in “Barbie doll anatomy,” but forget that the way the ponies are drawn all cartoony in the show to, they don’t have visible private parts anyways. Same with Sonic characters. Just look at Sonic, Tails, or Sally.
 
Speaking of which, back around the time of the “Twilicorn” drama, coincidentally there was alot of drama in the Sonic fanbase on DA over Princess Sally now wearing clothes in the official Sonic comic series by Archie. (As Sally just had an open vest, shoes, and “Barbie doll anatomy” prior.)  
One girl on DA even tried to claim it was “sexist” that male Sonic characters in the comic could be naked, but none of the females can be anymore… I don’t know what to think of that honestly. (Though, personally I think Sally’s new outfit is kinda cute.) Said girl now draws most of her anthro’ OCs without pants, and rants against Archie Comics, and Sega alot, she’s so upset about it.

The “barbie doll anatomy” tag means characters with their breasts and/or crotches exposed in such a manner that their nipples and/or genitalia should be visible, but instead those areas are completely smooth and featureless, just like a Barbie or similar fashion doll with its clothing removed.
 
I can see the point of your definition, but such a definition would be far too subjective, as well as too similar to just tagging “equestria girls”, to be useful on this site.

Yeah, I noticed the automated report. I tried searching by characters before this was posted, but it didn’t show the original, and the artists’ name here is different than the one I always see for them, so I couldn’t get it that way either.
