Just say no.

Yep, that was the point of my original comment. Republic in Name =[Doesn’t have to]= Republic Governing System
@Ebalosus
My own “Bolivaran Republic of Venezuela” 16 years with the same goverment, all the powers are connected, everything is rigged, they quote non-existent articles of the constitution to justify violations to the law. Oh, the last “president”, when he was sure he was going to die, he designated the next one, when Chavez died, the CNE just rigged the election to make the designated one win.
Just because it has “republic” in its name, doesn’t mean it isn’t imperalistic.
Besides, doesn’t the fact that the ones that want the “New Lunar Republic” are basicly rebelling against the Solar Empire and chosing their leader… who just happens to be the sister of the queen?
Key word there is were and I think I know this issue here. Nobody has even attempted at writing a decent story for this. I think I’ll get to it sometime
It’s ok; I was just very confused for a second there
Sorry I was just making a comment, as such. It wasn’t meant to be directed towards your Person. Linking on the last comment is kind of a bad habit of mine.
I didn’t mention a word about democracy…
Again Republic =/= Democracy…. Funny how some People fail to grasp this ratherly simple concept. And live under some delusion that the United States is some sort of “Democracy”, then rather the Federal Republic that it actually is….
Uh, the PRC and the CCCP are both/were both republics, in that they both had non-hereditary rulers.
People’s Republic of China
Democratic People’s Republic of North Korea
Union of Soviet Socialist Republics
Just because it has “Republic” in it’s name doesn’t mean it is a republic.
okay
YFW: The USoA, is a Federal Republic, and is NOT a Democracy…
My question is how can a republic stand on it’s own? Republic is just a section of government, it’s not a whole government or not a good one. At lest that’s what I think, it’s been a long time since I last learned Government.
