Lacking a sense of humour and something not being funny are two different situations. If others get the joke, then there’s a clear cut case for one of them.
@Darth Sonic
To be fair to the anonymous kid, they might not have recognized that it was supposed to be a joke, given that jokes are typically characterized by “being funny”.

I call it the Wikipedia Fallacy: when someone wants to sound smarter than they are while refuting an argument, they look up a list of informal fallacies on Wikipedia and run down the list one by one until they find one they can shoehorn into their argument, no matter how speciously.
And if the people who downvoted this felt tired or exasperated after going through it, imagine how the rest of us feels when you upload yet another of the 10000 twilicorn posts.
Great satire, op, its been a while since I’ve seen some genuine wit here.
I was strongly against the ascension in the beginning. I was afraid that it would ruin the chemistry between the characters in the show. But after watching season 4, I realized that, aside from having wings now, Twilight being a princess doesn’t mean jack unless it’s an episode focused on it. Sure, the group’s status has changed, but it’s still going to be the same show.
Considering how many people make “Twilight doesn’t deserve this” a major part of their argument, this (in theory, anyway) would satisfy a certain faction of the anti-ascensionists. While angering those who think Twilight would be more deserving of the honor than RD. So, yeah, it’d still be very similar to this universe.

Dangit, I want to show your comment to the show staff…

Don’t you know? Anyone who thinks Twilight’s ascension could ever, in any way, be a good thing needs to have their opinion silenced.
(Hm, seems like some other group complains about being told to shut up when they express their opinions…)
In the case of certain popular fallacies yes.
Yeah, but you get what I’m saying right?
In the case of strawman it’s usually “You said I said something I don’t agree with”.
Sure, but most of the time people only “point out” fallacies because they think it makes them seem educated.
“Ha, this person said something I don’t like/agree with. I know just what to say!”
-nice strawman m8, come back when you can use logic lolol
“Rekt.”
Some?
Well, strawmen are extremely popular on some debates here.
Strawman! Ad Hominem! Circular logic! Am I a mastur deb8er now guys?
k, just got done tasting that joke and it needs more irony, less salt.
Sure, dude, whatever gets you to sleep at night.

PS: It’s the first one.

The joke.
Your head.

The person that tagged this with that tag is what’s edgy here.
B-but it’s vaguely connected to violence! That makes it edgy!
There’s nothing edgy about the texas sharpshooter fallacy. The issue is that this isn’t a texas sharpshooter fallacy.
Great satire, op, its been a while since I’ve seen some genuine wit here.
I like you.
Good luck with that.

Hey nice taking my post out of context. Yeah because the “Except they went about it and executed in the WORSE, WAY, POSSIBLE.” part didn’t matter.
