Well, I guess imp Midna has nice hips. lol
Look at this normie
I think both look equally attractive
I just thought that scene with Link and Ilia was Nintendo’s latest attempt at Anime.
Ilia without irises > Yeta’s boss battle.
Apparently, Purlo of the STARS game was designed to look like a more realistic Tingle. And he’s just as greedy too, though instead of being quirky like Tingle, Purlo’s just a jackass.
Her humanoid form is kinda hot,but she doesn’t have that cute,chubby belly Imp!Midna has.Nor the shortness of her other form either.
I still wonder what went through their heads making the Ooccoo and Malo.They’re pretty jarring looking compared to the more human-like Hylians and the gritty,darker looking beasts of the game.Tingle makes a bit more sense than them.
Dude, we watch a show about technicolor talking horses and their docile dragon companion.
Very little can be considered weird to us, and that’s barely even close to it.
You’re just speaking heresy, that’s all.
@toxicrystal
@Eeveeinheat
Is it weird then that I think her humanoid-form was sexier then? Her imp form was just adorable at most for me.
@DJDerpy2013
According to some source material Malo is 8 years old despite his chubby baby-like appearance. Even more ironically is, he is the most grown-up of the children, and acts more like a cynical adult.
Yeah, Falbi & Fyer made me kinda miss Tingle. (Interestingly, Fyer has a bullet bill drawn on his outfit.)
I like how even Link looked a bit weirded out by the Oocoo.
I agree.
Not all of them were bad(Colin and Ilia were cute),but fucking Malo,man.That kid was just plain weird.Esp. when he gets the shop.Why the hell is that baby-man-child-thing running a shop?I thought it was a little kid.At least I think its a little kid.
Then again,that game had characters that would make Tingle freaked out.Like the clowns and their “clown repair montage” for their “clown cannon”.
Though their were some freaky creatures in that game.Like the ooccoo and ooccoo Jr..I really wonder what the hell went through the developers minds with that abomination of a species.
Seconded.
And then there’s the fact that Ganondorf in TP has that glowing chest wound from when the Sages stabbed him through the whole game (I really like how they added that to his character model in the new Smash Bros.), that Link actually stabs through himself when dealing the final blow.
Yeah, even though there was no blood, given WW’s graphic style it was still surprisingly edgy/violent for the game. I think it was also a callback to when “the hero of Time” Link delivered the final blow to Ganon at the end of “Ocarina of Time to. So it’s kinda a “tradition.” (In fact, in earlier copies of OoT for N64, the “blood” from that moment, and also from earlier when Ganondorf “coughs-up,” was red. In an E-rated game to. This was changed to green blood in later copies, the GameCube, and Virtual Console versions. However the red blood stains in the Shadow Temple, and such were left in tact.)
There was also some red-blood in T.P. also, like when Rusl is shown injured in his house with blood-stained bandages, and clothes. (Shortly before you finish the first dungeon, the Forest Temple near the beginning of the game. Surprisingly, alot of gamers missed this event, yet I found it on my first playthrough.)
There’s also the fact that Wind Waker Link STABS GANONDORF IN THE F***ING HEAD. …Come to think of it, his descendant in Spirit Tracks did the same thing to Malladus. That might’ve been an intentional Call Back…
Yeah, I liked Zelda 2. I kinda liked it’s “Punch-Out” style way of fighting/blocking with the sword/shield. (Which takes a li’l getting used to, but once you get it down, the Iron Knuckle knights become easy.)
I didn’t mind the wolf thing, it had some cool things about it. I also felt the horseback riding was more improved over Ocarina, and how you could fight on horseback, and such to. (The joust/escort missions/events on horseback were especially fun.) The storyline was pretty good to, and the characters were amusing.
Yeah, Zelda games have always had their darker/serious & lighter/comical moments, that’s part of the appeal of them. (And T.P. is no exception. The yeti characters were quite cute & funny to.)
Even “Windwaker” actually had a very dark backstory hidden behind it’s cute toon-shaded graphics. (Which made people who used to bash it before it came out for “looking to kiddy” ironic in hindsight.)
Considering it turns out the “Great Sea” is actually a post-apocalyptic Hyrule, and such. The islands are actually Hyrule’s mountains.
I love Zelda 2! Was lucky enough to run into a GBA port cartridge of it a few years back. Still good.
Gimmicky? I’d say the wolf form was annoying at first, but once you get to the point where you can change in and out of it at will, it really adds to the game mechanic by giving you a fast option to travel while retaining the ability to easily fight enemies you encounter, so I’m with it.
As for the darker tone, I see it as the reverse of Ocarina of time, which was lighthearted, but with darker overtones. Twilight Princess might seem dark, but the quirky fun of the townsfolk, the cuteness of Midna, and especially the character twist of Zant in your final battle with him, really make the darkness palatable with big jolly dollops of comedy.
Lucky, plus when a new Wii game is released on the Eshop they have it on sale for a week for half price. ($9.99) Which is pretty darn good for a Wii game. Last week they rereleased “Punch-Out Wii,” and apparently “Metroid Prime Trilogy,” (a rather rare Wii game) and “Donkey Kong Country Returns” are coming up next.
Interestingly, if you have a save file from the original Wii versions of the game, they’ll still work on the WiiU download version, as well. They’re basically perfect ports of the original game. (Though, I have no clue if they’re in HD, or in their original pixel resolutions.)
Funny thing is, I just got a Wii U two weeks ago.
…Wait, that’s a mustache? I always thought those were tusks, too! Weird…
Well, I guess the wolf-gimmick, darker-tone, and some of the tedious side-quests weren’t to everybody’s appeal, but the game was quite good in it’s own regard, and had some nice things about it.
As a longtime Zelda fan (ever sense my big bro’ gave me the first NES one when I was little for my birthday) I’ve always loved the series, and honestly I don’t hate any game in the series. I even liked Zelda 2.
(And no I never played the Philips-made CD-I games. Those don’t count anyways.)
@Jarkes
Well, they did start rereleasing download versions of Wii games on WiiU via the Eshop, so they might bring “Twilight Princess” to it eventually. Might be cheaper then buying a used copy. (If you have a WiiU that is.)
Also, said Wii games use their original controller configurations.
As for me I had the GameCube version of T.P.
@Jarkes
What about that doctor guy with the huge glasses? Also the mayor of the first town, I mistook his mustache tufts for “tusks” the first time I saw him.
