I’m still mildly curious about the Duck Hunt Dog, but it seems this dog thinks Pinkie Pie is cute.
Oh and I somehow can’t seem to do tickling images without Pinkie going all Ocular Gushers. XP

Yeah, the SSB4 DLC could be released for the New 3DS only and as long as the characters I like are back, I don’t mind buying another 3DS. (Especially since I’ve owned mine since it first came out. This is an updated model that I’m interested in shifting to.)
In regards to Rosalina & Luma, (as well as Duck Hunt) their “sidekick” characters are tiny, and not the same size, which is probably why they work.
I doubt we’ll see the Ice Climbers until the next SSB game, but you do have a point, sense the “New 3DS & New 3DSXL” out in Japan do run the game much faster, sense it has a faster processor then the regular 3DS, you never know.

I bet if they tried working the Ice Climbers on the New 3DS’s stronger hardware, then there wouldn’t be that much of a problem. If not, then he should try reducing their frames-per-second until he finds a setting that doesn’t slow down the game. And to compromise for their decreased FPS, the Ice Climbers should have all of their attributes buffed.
It’s possible, but Sakuriai said they had trouble getting the Ice Climbers to work on the 3DS. I guess having 8 characters on-screen running at 60-frames-per-second could slow things down, (especially when playing online) so not counting on them unless they split them into one character. Though, then they’d lose their whole unique gimmick of playing as 2 characters at once. Though, of course they’d still have their ice moves, and is one of the only characters with said elemental attacks.
Maybe exclusive DLC for the New 3DS?
They’ll more likely wait ’till a more powerful portable comes out, and bring them back in the next Smash.
Once Sakurai finds a way to program the Ice Climbers without any problems, I bet he’ll include them (and Lucas.) as future DLC.
Let’s just say Pinkie Pie is really tickleable. XP
