Honestly, I never liked that “Mario Party/Monopoly destroys friendships” meme.
(And I’m usually the guy here defending memes when people complain about them.)
Honestly, neither game has caused any fights with my friends, and we just take the “dicking each other over” in good humor, and such.
And dicking over your friends. Don’t forget that Monopoly is the most potent method of friendship destruction that doesn’t have “Mario” in the name. I don’t even remember if you even can screw over other players in Life, and where’s the fun in being rich and successful if it doesn’t come as a direct result of crushing others under your heel?
I disagree, I like “Life,” and despite the “getting money” concept they aren’t the same game, as far as I’m concerned. It’s also not just about getting money, but also making a family, and such “life” things to.
Monopoly is more of a real-estate game about buying, and selling/trading properties.
lol
but in this game UHHH OHHH Twilight Sparkle is pregnant with triplets and flunked out of college. looks like shes flipping burgers for a living and is married to pinkie pie. It can all happen… in the game of LIFE!
They’re pretty close. You just try to get as much money as possible in both. Except Life just isn’t fun.
@PrinceCadance
I don’t see how it’s a “rip-off” really, as both games have alot of differences. That’s like saying “Risk” is a rip-off of “Chess,” or that “Super Mario Bros.” is a rip-off of “Pac Land.”
