I like that MLP villains aren’t always ugly or repulsive. One of the most egregious disney mistakes is an latent connection between physical appearance and moral standing.

Sonata seems very, very stupid. Like Pinkie but without her moments of genius/underlining intelligence that make her not stupid.
 
Adagio is like an evil Twilight, Sonata is an evil Pinkie, and Aria is an evil Rainbow Dash.
