Worst kind of fanfiction too, the one where the author is just so obsessed with their bland OC they focus entirely on them instead of the thing that actually made people like this show.
 
We get it, your OC is just so amazing and powerful and immortal and so handsome Rarity and Fluttershy are falling all over him, we get it, can we get to the fun now? The fun with the characters people actually like?
 
Oh, of course not, your OC has to push them out of the way so he can save the day like they were somehow impeding him from being the hero.
