I WANT DISSSSS
Well, considering he enjoys voicing the show, and embraces the fanbase, I don’t think he asks for to much money for the show. I think voice-acting pays the same for every actor.
As for Weird Al, he’s done alot of voice-acting work in cartoons, and he said he’d gladly return as Cheese Sandwich. (But said that’s up to the show’s writers if they wish to bring said character back.)
I can’t see how the likely issues would be a problem, given there’s a Cheese blindbag toy coming out. Likely part of any deal WAY signed was to allow Hasbro full rights to the character, considering it was designed to his likeness, for perpetuity.
Well, who knows they might use Cheese some day if “likeness” issues don’t get in the way of that. (Though, Weird Al stated he would gladly voice Cheese again if he ever returned in the show. So he doesn’t mind the character.)
I wanted it in the comic…
Seriously, 90% of the comic covers for this series have nothing to do with the actual story inside of them.
Still, nice to see Cheese & a few Weird Al homages on the cover.

Hot Topic covers are rarely ever linked to the comic within. Hell, issue 20’s had Maud and Pinkie Pie
Oh, yeah, very doubtful. #22 is the finale of the Trixie / Manehatten story, so doubtful no Cheese or other WAY refs.
