Actually it makes some sense that ponyverse Twi could fall for another sentient species even a species she had just encounter. Now if it was humanverse Twi who came to the pony world that would make no sense for her to fall for someone of a different species sentient or not as humans are the only sentient species in her universe. However ponyverse Twi comes from a world of several ruling sentient species so inter-species relationships are not out of the question for her and her world. Mules, which are the off spring of one parent being a horse and one being a donkey are proof of that.

Actually, Trixie is. Rainbow Rocks is going to be some battle of the bands thing; she fought against Rainbow Dash for a guitar and is supposed to be one of the leads of an opposing band to the Main 6’s. Not necessarily evil of what I’ve seen so far, but still an antagonist.
